Coach Profile: D'Layne Benson
D’Layne has worked in wellness and health care for the last 17 years, initially as a massage therapist and currently as a registered nurse. She nurses at a critical access hospital in Sun Valley, Idaho. Her passion for learning about holistic health began over 20 years ago when she began a personal yoga practice to help with her athletic performance and mental health. Since that time, she has never stopped learning about holistic health. Some of her favorite courses over the years included topics such as acupressure, nutrition, yoga, and meditation. She has certifications in both Healing Touch and Reiki.
D’Layne hopes to help people improve their quality of life by showing them ways to slowly integrate positive changes into their day-to-day lives. She has a great deal of personal experience working through trauma and anxiety, and hopes to draw upon her experiences to help others do the same.
When D’Layne isn’t working, she can be found with her husband, stepson and dog exploring the mountains of central Idaho. Whatever the season, they love finding ways to immerse themselves in nature.
